HOT TUB / THERAPY POOL

IMPORTANT HEALTH INFORMATION

Consult your physician before using the hot tub if you are pregnant, elderly, have diabetes, heart disease, high or low blood pressure, take medications that may be contraindicated, or have any other health concerns.

BEFORE ENTERING

  • Shower before and after using the hot tub.

  • Do not enter with cold skin, an infection, open wounds, seeping bodily fluids, or incontinence.

  • Never use the hot tub alone or while intoxicated or under the influence of anything that could increase the risk of drowning.

  • Children under age 6 may enter only when the water temperature is below 98°F.

  • Guests ages 7–18 must be supervised by an adult.

  • The water temperature must never exceed 102°F.

  • Limit use to 20 minutes at a time. Longer exposure may cause dizziness, nausea, or fainting.

OPENING THE COVER
‍ ‍ ‍Please watch the video before opening the hot tub.

  • Hold the cover handle and fold the top section over the bar.

  • Lift the bar so the folded cover rests behind the spa.

  • Open the other side of the cover.

  • A leaf net is located beside the house for removing leaves from the water.

    AFTER USING THE HOT TUB

  • Turn the jets on full.

  • Sprinkle ½ capful of chlorine evenly across the water.

  • Close the cover while the jets are running.

  • To close the cover, lift the bar and fold it upward. Then use the handle to lower the cover gently. Do not drop it.

  • Make sure the cover is lined up evenly and completely closed to retain the heat.

    PROTECTING THE HOT TUB AND PROPERTY

  • The cover is designed to retain heat. Never sit, stand, or walk on it.

  • Do not place wet towels on the outdoor porch or patio sofas. If you are wet, please bring a chair over from the large table.

  • No glass, smoking, soaps, oils, bubble bath, or other liquids are permitted in the hot tub.

  • No pets are permitted in the hot tub or therapy pool.

  • No horseplay, sitting on the sides, or leaning on the cover.

  • Wet tile can become extremely slippery. Please use caution.

  • Special cleaning or damage may result in additional charges.

  • A $150 fee will be charged if the hot tub must be completely drained because of misuse.
